Brownsville - Hector Manuel Martinez Morua, 62, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen.

Mr. Martinez Morua was born August 30, 1959 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Israel Martinez Villarreal and Elida Morua Sauceda. He is preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Alma Rosa Salinas Gonzalez Martinez; his sons: Hector Martinez, Aldo Martinez (Angelina Escobar), Ytalo Martinez (Cynthia Hernandez); his mother: Elida Morua Sauceda Martinez; brothers: Israel Martinez, Ernesto Martinez, Miguel Angel Martinez, Pedro Martinez; sisters: Maria Saldivar, Elvira Torres, Ana Chaires and Frances Lozano. Also surviving him is 1 granddaughter, Isabel Martinez Escobar.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 27, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral Chapel Service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
