Higinia M. Correa

Brownsville - Higinia M. Correa, 88, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Correa was born January 11, 1937, in Mexico. Daughter of Vicente Monjaras and Demetria Triana Mendoza Monjaras. She is preceded in death by her husband: Armando Correa, Sr.; a son: Ricardo Trevino; her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Lucio Torres Jr., Lidia Millard, Armando Correa Jr., Alicia Garcia and Manuel Correa; her brother Santos Monjaras. Also surviving her are 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
