Homero Garcia

Donna, Texas - Homero Garcia, 65, passed away to be with the Lord on February 15, 2025 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Garcia was born on May 20, 1959 in Ejido La Sierrita de Matamoros, Tamaulipas to Ms. Maria De Jesus Garcia Esqueda.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers; Jesus Aza, Ezequiel Salinas and Noe Salinas, his sisters;Carmen Salinas, Rosalba Cervantes, Esther Salinas and Nicolasa Salinas.

Homero Garcia is survived by his lovely wife Sylvia Alcala de Garcia, his daughters; Maria (Jesus) Colunga, Laura (Andres) Rodriguez and Isaura (Jaime) Flores, his brother Juan Salinas and Elias Salinas, his sisters; Araceli Tavera, Gloria Garcia, and Maria Enamorado, his grandchildren, Chanel Medina, Chloe Hernandez, Janet Flores, Jimena Flores, Gabriella Flores,Savannah Rodriguez, Dianna Rennata Rodriguez, Marques

Colunga, Kimberly Colunga, Raul Colunga and Jesus Colunga.

Visitation for Homero Garcia is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, February 19,2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service is scheduled on Thursday, February 20,2025 at 10:00 AM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens.Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
