Ida Valencia

Elsa- Ida Valencia, 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at her residence in Donna.

Mrs. Valencia was born on May 29, 1942 to Mr. Francisco V. Saenz and Mrs. Eva Alvarado Saenz in Michigan.

Mrs. Valencia is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Francisco V. Saenz and Mrs. Eva Alvarado Saenz; her brothers, Erasmo Saenz, Cruz Saenz, Silvestre Saenz, Saragoza Saenz, Oscar Benavides; her sisters, Graciela Benavides.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Natividad Valencia; her sons, David (Rachel) Valencia, Jose Valencia; her daughter, Veronica (Neil) Horrell; her sisters, Ernestina Nunez & Amadora Saenz and her grandchildren, Isaac Valencia, Kaya Beszhak, Jayden Beszhak.

Visitation for Mrs. Ida Valencia is scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
