Iris Zarazua

Weslaco, Texas - Iris C. Zarazua, 86, passed away to be with the Lord on March 31, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Zarazua was born on May 5, 1938 in Rancho Laguna Seca Tamaulipas Mexico to Mr. Gonzalo Serna & Virginia Guzman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Emiliano Serna, Norberto Serna; six sisters, Olivia Serna, Jesusa Alvarado, Maria Guzman, Gil Casas, Julia Gonzalez, Oralia Garcia.

Iris C. Zarazua is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Zarazua; four sons, Jesus Zarazua (Hortencia), Ruben Zarazua (Ana Maria), Geronimo Zarazua (Maria Antonia), Juan Manuel Zarazua (Dalia); five daughters, Maria Guadalupe Zarazua, Dora Alicia Zarazua, Julia Zarazua (Jose Guadalupe+), Yessenia Lopez (Miguel), Francisca Vasquez (Javier Antonio); two brothers, Margarito Serna, Hector Serna; two sisters, Rufina Alvarado & Guadalupe Coronado. Also surviving 23 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Iris C. Zarazua is scheduled for Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace with a 7:00 pm Rosary. A 1:00 PM Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2025 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
