Weslaco- Irma Gloria De Leon, 59, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her residence in Weslaco, Texas.

Mrs. De Leon was born on September 11, 1962 to Mr. Santos Martinez and Mrs. Maria Vasquez Martinez in Weslaco, Texas.

She is preceded in parents: Mr. Santos Martinez and Mrs. Maria Vasquez Martinez; her brothers: Bascilano Martinez and Refugio Martinez; his sister: Anita Rueda.

Left to cherish her memories is her Loving Husband: Jose G. "Joe" De Leon Jr.; her son: Jose G. De Leon III; her daughter: Rebecca (Rey II) Reyna; her brothers: Rosalio Martinez, Santos Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez; her sister: Maria Martinez; her grandchildren: Rey Reyna III, Ryan Reyna & Grace Amelia De Leon.

Mrs. De Leon will be remembered by her faith in God. She was willing to help others when she could and her grandchildren were her world, she would always bid them goodnight with her saying "Sleep with the Angels". Irma would say a prayers for her family daily. She was a amid Weslaco Panthers Football fan and cheered for the 49er's football team. Mrs. De Leon will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for Mrs. De Leon is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 10:00 am at City of Refuge Church in Donna, Texas. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park of Weslaco.
