Jacinto Tamez

Elsa- Jacinto Tamez, 94, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his residence in Elsa, Texas.

He was born on August 16, 1928 to Mr. Nicolas Tamez and Mrs. Petra S. Tamez in La Blanca, Texas.

Mr. Tamez is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Nicolas Tamez and Mrs. Petra S. Tamez; his brothers, Jose Tamez, Simon Tamez; his sisters, Cruz Martinez, Emma Tamez.

Left to cherish his memories is his Loving Wife, Claudina Tamez; his son, Jacinto (Margarita) Tamez Jr.; his daugthers, Yadira I. (David) Gonzalez, Leticia (Franklin) Lazo; his sister, Maria Moreno; his grandchildren, David A. Gonzalez Jr "DJ", Nicholas G. Lazo, Elyse I. Gonzalez, Andres J. Tamez, Gabriel Tamez, Felicia R. Lazo; his great-grandchildson, Diego Andres Gonzalez.

Visitation for Mr. Jacinto Tamez is scheduled for Friday, September 16, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
