Jacklyn Hernandez

Brownsville - Jacklyn Hernandez, 31, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Ms. Hernandez was born March 13, 1991 in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of Guadalupe Hernandez and Irma Gutierrez Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Guadalupe Hernandez, Maria C. Hernandez; maternal grandfather Jose Tomas Gutierrez and her cousins, Jose Alberto Bocanegra Jr. and J.J. Hernandez.

She is survived by her parents, Guadalupe Hernandez, Irma Hernandez; her brother, Guadalupe Hernandez IV (Liz); her fiancee, Rene Villarreal; maternal grandmother, Aurelia Gutierrez. Also surviving her are numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
