Janie Trevino Flores

Brownsville - Janie Trevino Flores, 75, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at her residence in Brownsville.

Mrs. Flores was born January 9, 1945, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of Manuel Castro Trevino and Francisca Charles Hernandez Trevino. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Lydia Garcia; sisters Hortencia Hinojosa, Bertha Salazar and Andrea Cardenas.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Tomas Flores; sons, Joe Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Andy Flores; brothers, Manuel Trevino, Leonel Trevino, Juan Trevino, Ruben Trevino; sisters, Elena Trevino, Margarita Trevino. Also surviving her are 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
