Mercedes- Jessica Bernal, 45, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Brooks Army Medical Center in For Sam Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Bernal was born on March 1, 1977 to Mr. Ernesto Cardona and Mrs. Lydia Cruz in Weslaco, Texas.

Jessica is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Lydia Cruz; her sister, Yracelia Cardona.

Left to cherish her memories are her Loving Husband, Miguel Bernal Jr.; her sons, Miguel Bernal III, Lukas Isaiah Bernal; her father, Mr. Ernesto Cardona; her brothers, Ernesto (Lena) Cardona, Victor (Yanira) Cardona; her sisters, Jessenia Cardona, Lucinda Cardona; her In-Laws, Mr. Miguel Bernal & Mrs. LeeAnn Bernal.

Mrs. Jessica Bernal will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for Mrs. Jessica Bernal is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 am to 1:45 pm followed by a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
