Edcouch, Texas - Jesus Matilde Hernandez Jr., 55, passed away to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Hernandez was born on May 26, 1969 in Hereford, TX to Mr. Jesus M. Hernandez & Mrs. Francisca Villarreal.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jesus Matilde Hernandez Jr. is survived by his brother, Sergio C. Hernandez (Ruby Quintana); one sister, Imelda Herrera (Abraham); four nieces, Marisela F. Herrera, Alejandra Herrera, Celeste R. Herrera & Vanessa Y. Herrera. Also surviving is one grandnephew, Ezra Landon Saldaña.

Visitation for Jesus Matilde Hernandez, Jr. is scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Heavens with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, TX.
