Mercedes- Jesus Alejandro Rivera, 20, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at McAllen Heart Hospital.

He was born on February 15, 2001 to Mr. Guadalupe Rivera and Mrs. Adela Gomez in Rio Bravo, Tamps. Mexico.

Mr. Rivera is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories is his Raising Father: Eriberto Rivera; his brothers: Jose Ramon Rivera, Jose Francisco Rivera, Guadalupe Rivera; his sisters: Ludivina (Dagoberto) Pena, Karina Rivera; his grandparents: Beatriz Martinez and Ovidio Gomez; and his nieces & nephews: Jocelyn Rivera, Layna Vasquez, Loriann Pena, April Ayala, Dagoberto Pena III, Elias Pena.

Visitation for Mr. Jesus Alejandro Rivera is scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
