Mr. Lugo was born on June 6, 1951 to Mr. Guillermo Lugo and Mrs. Maria Muniz Lugo in Weslaco, Texas.

Mr. Lugo is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Guillermo Lugo and Mrs. Maria Muniz Lugo; his brother, Guillermo "Memo" Lugo Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his Loving Wife, Angelica Lugo; his sons, Dr. Joaquin Norberto (Alison Lee) Lugo Jr., Dr. Jonathan Matthew (Amy Marie) Lugo; his daughters, Marissa Trevino, Angela Jessica (Roger) Gomez; his brothers, Ernesto Lugo, Robert Lugo; his sisters, Maria Hortencia Wells Lugo, Eladia Castillo Lugo, Estella Garcia Lugo, Rosa Rodriguez Lugo, Graciela De Anda Lugo, Ninfa Guajardo Lugo; his grandchildren, Joaquin N. Lugo III, Gabriel R. Lugo, Daniel Trevino, Victoria Vela, Pheonix M. Lugo, Maya N. Llewellyn, Conner J. Gomez, Sadie N. Gomez.

Visitation for Mr. Joaquin Norberto Lugo is scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco.
