Mercedes - Joel Espinoza Elizondo, 63, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center.
Mr. Espinoza Elizondo was born May 3, 1960 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Antonio Espinoza and Maria Eugenia Elizondo. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez Espinoza; his children, Joel Espinoza Jr., Graciela Espinoza, Jose Eduardo Espinoza, Daniel Alejandro Espinoza, Juan Antonio Espinoza; brothers, Antonio Espinoza, David Espinoza, Juan Espinoza, Moises Espinoza and his sisters, Noemi Espinoza, Maria Ester Espinoza, Martha Espinoza and Elizabeth Espinoza. Also surviving him are 22 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Sacred Park Cemetery.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
