Edcouch- Jose Angel Sanchez, 87, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Edinburg.
He was born on October 15, 1934 to Mr. Elijio Sanchez and Mrs. Clara Villalon Sanchez in La Feria, Texas.
Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents; his Loving Wife: Cristina Valdez; his brothers: Guadalupe Garza, Raul Sanchez, Israel Sanchez; his sisters: Concepcion Garza, Josefina Guzman, Beatriz Sanchez.
Left to cherish his memories is his sons: Jaime (Ester) Zapata, Rene (Amelia) Zapata; his daughter: Emeteria (Gabriel Jr.) Sanchez-Farias; his caretaker: Griselda Ortiz; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation for Mr. Jose Angel Sanchez is scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
