Jose Becerra

Alamo - Jose Becerra, 91, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at his residence in Alamo.

Mr. Becerra was born November 3, 1931 Brownsville, Texas, son of Ramon Becerra and Concepcion Esparza.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Concepcion Martinez Becerra; his parents; brothers, Ramon Becerra Jr & Juanito Becerra; sister, Sofia B, Arellano.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Maria Arcilla Nocar, Maria Gomez, Jose Zaragosa Becerra Jr. (Patricia), Josephine Pribble (Franklin); his siblings, Joe Z. Becerra, Reuben Becerra, Epi Becerra, Raymond Becerra, Carmen Becerra, Connie B. Perez, Andy Becerra, Albert Becerra, Evangelina B. Gutierrez, Angelita Karisson. Also surviving him are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a rosary at 1:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. A chapel service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
