Mr. Cardenas was born on July 1, 1952 in Donna, TX to Mr. Jose Maria Cardenas & Mrs. Marcela Cardenas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Maria Cardenas and his brother Francisco Cardenas.
Jose Maria Cardenas is survived by his mother, Marcela Cardenas. His sons; David Cardenas, Alex Cardenas (Cassandra), Israel Cardenas, his daughters; Janet Cardenas and Janice Perez (Edgar), his brother Rolando Cardenas, his sisters; Maria Cardenas, Yolanda Cardenas and Irma Cardenas.
Visitation for Jose Maria Cardenas Jr. is scheduled for Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
