Elsa- Jose E. Ramirez, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, Texas.

He was born on March 17, 1939 to Mrs. Micaela Estela in Crystal City, Texas.

Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Rebecca Ramirez; his brothers, Ramon Ramirez, Gilberto Ramirez and his sister, Alamar Ramirez.

Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Lupita (Uvaldo) Vasquez; his brother, Reymundo Ramirez; his grandchildren, Alberto (Aurora) C. Vasquez, Annie (Levi) Castillo, Adriana Vasquez and his great-grandchildren, Rebecca Castillo, David Castillo, Alberto Vasquez Jr., Elijah Vasquez, numerous nieces and nephews from Toledo, Ohio.

Visitation for Mr. Jose E. Ramirez is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
