Jose Ramos

Weslaco, Texas - Jose Ramos Olivarez, 80, passed away to be with the Lord on May 10, 2023 peacefully at his residence.

Mr. Ramos was born on March 7, 1943 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas to Mr. Ponciano Ramos & Mrs. Ofelia Ramos.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers; Roberto Ramos, Juan Ramos, Lucio Ramos, Francisco Ramos, Jorge Ramos, Ponciano "Chano" Ramos and his sister Guadalupe Rodriguez.

Jose Ramos is survived by his lovely wife Josefina Ramos, his sons; Jose Ramos Jr.(Monica), Juan Ramos (Celia), Jesus Ramos (Araceli), Guadalupe Ramos, Javier Ramos (Abigail), Joel Ramos (Danielle), his daughters; Ana Maria Guevara (Eddieberto), and Gabriela Morales (Julian), his sisters; Valentina Reyes and Ofelia Martinez, his 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Jose Ramos is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
