Jose Villegas

Elsa- Jose Villegas, 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Villegas was born on July 11, 1931 to Mr. Pedro Villegas and Mrs. Leocadia Moreno Villegas in Mexico.

Mr. Villegas is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Pedro Villegas and Mrs. Leocadia Moreno Villegas; his bother, Daniel Villegas; his sisters, Cesaria Villegas, Vicenta Villegas, Clara Villegas, Guadalupe Villegas and his grandson, Pedro Villegas Jr.

Left to cherish his memories is his Loving Wife, Julia Villegas; his sons, Jose (Betty) Villegas, Pedro (Ofelia) Villegas; his daughters, Angelica (Fernando) Zuniga, Leocadia (Alfredo Vega) Villegas, Julia (Benito) Rodriguez; his brother, Aurelio Villegas; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Jose Villegas is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
