Weslaco- Josefina Rodriguez, 82, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her residence in Weslaco.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on November 22, 1940 to Mr. Roman Rodriguez and Mrs. Martina Pizana Rodriguez in Mexico.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Roman Rodriguez and Mrs. Martina Pizana Rodriguez; her husband, Nicolas Rodriguez; her brothers, Roman Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez; her sisters, Maria Guadalupe Eguia, Emma Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Nicolas (Natalie) A. Rodriguez; her daughters, Diana Gonzales, Xochyl (Pedro) Gonzalez; her sister, Maria Luisa Flores; her grandchildren, Dion Gonzales, Iylah Gonzales, Roman Mendez, Diego Rodriguez, Adelyn S. Rodriguez, Antonio T. Castillo, Pedro A. Gonzalez, Alexandra J. Castillo.

Visitation for Mrs. Josefina Rodriguez is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
