J. Ruben Saenz

Weslaco - J. Ruben Saenz, 69, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center.

Mr. Saenz was born May 15, 1953 in Mercedes, Texas, son of Ricardo Saenz and Elvira Villarreal. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Juan Gabiel Saenz; his sister, Angelita Saenz and a sister-in-law, Blanca Saenz and a brother-in-law Daniel Martinez.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Angelita "Angie" Valdez Saenz; sons, Juan Ruben Saenz Jr. (Rosie), Eric Saenz (Abel);daughter \-in-law, Alma Saenz; brothers, Ricardo Saenz (Alicia), Juan Roberto Saenz (+Blanca), Raul Saenz (Carmen); sisters, Teresa Martinez (+Daniel), Adalia Moreno (Joe). Also surviving him are 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. Funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco with interment to follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
