Mercedes- Juan Luis Guajardo Sr., 70, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Harlingen, Texas.

Mr. Guajardo was born on August 21, 1953 to Mr. Luis Guajardo and Mrs. Esperanza Flores in Mercedes, Texas.

Mr. Guajardo is preceded in death by his wife, Juana Maria Hernandez; his son, Joe Guajardo; his parents, Mr. Luis Guajardo and Mrs. Esperanza Flores.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Juan Guajardo Jr., Antonio Elias (Stephanie) Guajardo; his daughters, Deorica (Lee) Trevino, Velma (Michael) Rodriguez, Alba (Jay Clowers) Guajardo; his brother, Jose Flores; his sisters, Rosalinda Sanchez, Maria Elma Adame, Diana Ramirez; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Juan Luis Guajardo Sr. is scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
