Brownsville - Juan Ignacio Lamas, 47, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lamas was born April 13, 1975, in Brownsville, Texas. Son of Ignacio Lamas and Maria del Socorro Vasquez. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Yudith Velez; his daughter: Yaretzi Lamas; his son: Cristian Lamas; his brothers: Ismael Lamas, Edgar Lamas, Jose Lamas, Carlos Lamas, Fernando Lamas; his sisters: Elida Lamas and Maria Luisa Lamas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
