Weslaco, Texas - Leopoldo "Polo" F. Salinas Jr, 79, passed away to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr.Salinas was born on October 14, 1943 in Weslaco TX. to Mr. Leopoldo Salinas Sr. & Mrs. Julia Filoteo.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brothers Benito Salinas and Felix Salinas.

Leopoldo F Salinas Jr is survived by his loving wife of many years Rosie Salinas, his daughters Sandra Salinas and Sharon (Frank) Arizpe, his fur baby "Charlie", his brother Wenceslado "Vence" Salinas and his sister Fidelfa Menchacha, his grandchildren Julia, Aiden and Jason.

Visitation for Leopoldo F Salinas Jr is scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Heavens. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22,2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
