Lourdes V. Torres

Brownsville - Lourdes V. Torres, 67, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mrs. Torres was born March 13, 1954 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Felipe Dimas and Maria Martinez Chavez. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Esau Torres; and a brother, Francisco Bolado.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Celestino Torres; sons, David Torres (Jennifer), Danny Torres (Ashley); daughters, Myrian Flores (Mariano); Eunice Torres (Bobby Nieto); sisters, Antoni Estrella, Bertha Alicia Castellano. Also surviving her are 16 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2:30 pm to 8 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:30 am Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
