Lucero Mendez

Brownsville - Lucero Mendez, 50, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Mrs. Mendez was born November 13, 1970 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, daughter of Carlos Arroyo and Lucia Cordero. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Salvador Mendez; children, Susana Lucio, Cecilia Mendez, Kevin Mendez; brother, Alfonso Arroyo Cordero; sister, Carmina Arroyo Cordero. Also surviving her grandchild Gabriel Lucio.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
