McAllen- Ludivina Garcia, 67, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Garcia was born on January 28, 1956 to Mr. Hijino Cortez and Mrs. Maria Reglado in McAllen, Texas.
Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Hijinio Cortez Jr., Leonel Cortez, Alberto Cortez; her loving husband, Keith Zellers.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving son, Adelmiro (Veronica) Valdez; his daughters, Venisa (Jaime) Abeldano, Maria Jimenez; her brothers, Ramiro Cortez, Jose Cortez, Juan Cortez; his daughter, Maria E. Cortez; 13 grandchildrens and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
