Brownsville - Luis Govea Lozano,92, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Mr. Govea Lozano was born June 21, 1930 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Pablo Govea and Cruz Lozano Vasquez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsa Varela Holquin Govea; his parents; brother, Pablo Govea and sister,Rosa Maria Marote.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Elsa G. Moreno (Perfecto), Alma Rosa Govea and his sister, Guadalupe Govea Rodriguez. Also surviving him are 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Funeral services have been entrusted t to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
