Donna, Texas - Luis Leal Lopez, 69, passed away to be with the Lord on June 12, 2023 at DHR hospice facility.
Mr. Lopez was born on March 28, 1954 in Mercedes, TX. to Mr. Jose Lopez & Mrs. Jovita Leal.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Terry Trevino.
Luis Lopez is survived by his beautiful wife Gloria Lopez, his sons; Lupe Trevino, Lucio Lopez (Bonnie), Ricky Lopez (JoAnn), Danny Lopez and Andrew Lopez, his daughters; Tanya Lopez, Linda Trevino and Sandra Lopez, his brother Jose Lopez (Alicia), his sisters; Becky Lopez, Lydia Lopez (Charlie) and Jovie Ahumada (Rigoberto), and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation for Luis Lopez is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Grace. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, June 15,2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. As per his wishes, Mr. Lopez will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
