Luis Antonio Luna

Edinburg- Luis Antonio Luna, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Luna was born November 23, 1949 in Edinburg, Texas, son of Modesto Luna Sr. and Engracia Martinez Luna. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Tommy Luna, Roger Luna & his sister Lupe Gomez.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons; Ricco Antonio Luna (Nidia Garza), Carlo Phillip Luna (Amber Yoder), and his daughter, Margaux Nicole Luna (Jorge Martinez); his brothers, Rene Luna, Roy Luna, Johnny Luna, Frankie Luna & Moe Luna; his sisters, Margie Engel, Rosie Barrera & Chilo Acosta & the mother of his children, Mary Ann Luna. Also surviving him are 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm, at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas.

As per his wishes, Mr. Luna will be cremated at a later date.

In lieu of fresh floral arrangements, family is requesting potted plants.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
