San Juan- Margarita Arevalo Jimenez, 67, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2025 at her residence in San Juan, Texas.

Margarita Arevalo Jimenez, the eldest of twelve was born to Olga Jimenez Porras and Jose Sacramento Jimenez on February, 25,1958 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas. Margarita and her husband, Francisco Javier Reyes, Passed away at home on February 27,2025.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Alicia, Diana, Gloria, Raquel, and Rosanna, 10 grandchildren, 11 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and her former husband, Guillermo.

Margarita lived a vibrant life full of love and music, frequently singing for others. She lived to help others in any way she could and shared her faith with everybody she met. Margarita was only a phone call away anytime her family or friends needed encouragement and prayer.

The services and reception will be at:605 E. Seventh St. San Juan, Texas, 78589 on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM

Burial will be held at sunset in Valle Hermoso on Friday, March 21,2025

We would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the San Juan, Pharr and Edinburg firefighters that spent numerous hours putting out the fire at her home. As well as all those who were involved in caring for her, especially Salinas Funeral Home.

San Juan - Margarita Arévalo Jiménez, de 67 años, fue a estar con el Señor el 27 de Febrero de 2025 en su residencia en San Juan, Texas.

Margarita Arévalo Jiménez, la mayor de doce hermanos, nació de Olga Jiménez Porras y José Sacramento Jiménez el 25 de febrero de 1958 en Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas. Margarita y su esposo, Francisco Javier Reyes, fallecieron en su casa el 27 de Febrero de 2025.

Para atesorar sus recuerdos quedan sus hijas; Alicia, Diana, Gloria, Raquel y Rosanna, 10 nietos, 11 hermanos, numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos, y su ex esposo, Guillermo.

Margarita vivió una vida vibrante llena de amor y música, cantando con frecuencia para los demás. Vivió para ayudar a los demás en todo lo que pudo y compartió su fe con todas las personas que conoció. Margarita estaba a solo una llamada telefónica de distancia cada vez que su familia o amigos necesitaban aliento y oración.

El entierro se llevará a cabo al atardecer en Valle Hermoso el viernes 21 de marzo de 2025

Nos gustaría extender un sincero agradecimiento a los bomberos de San Juan, Pharr y Edinburg que pasaron numerosas horas apagando el incendio en su casa. Así como a todos los que estuvieron involucrados en cuidarla, especialmente a la Funeraria Salinas.
