Margarito Amaya

Weslaco- Margarito Amaya, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas.

Mr. Amaya was born on May 7, 1947 to Mr. Jose Amaya and Mrs. Herlinda Amaya in Lyford, Texas.

Mr. Amaya is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Jose Amaya and Mrs. Herlinda Amaya; his brothers, Sigifredo Amaya, Jose Amaya, Baldemar Amaya; his sisters, Beatriz Amaya and Maria de Jesus Amaya.

Left to cherish his memories are his Loving Wife, Carlota Amaya; his sons, Margarito (Elisa) Amaya Jr., Juan Jose Amaya, Omar Amaya, Alejandro (Tina Alvarez) Amaya; his brothers, Antonio Amaya, Arturo Amaya, Estevan Amaya, Manuel Amaya, Miguel Amaya; his sisters, Blanca Nieves, Olaya Amaya, Hermocina Sada; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Margarito Amaya is scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
