Mercedes- Maria Isabel Alonzo, 40, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Brownsville.
Mrs. Alonzo was born on August 22, 1982 to Mr. Oscar Alonzo and Mrs. Maria Hernandez Alonzo in Mexico.
Mrs. Alonzo is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Hernandez Alonzo and her brother, Ricardo Alonzo.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Abraham Medina; her daughter, Mia Medina; her father, Oscar Alonzo; her brother, Jose O. (Mireya) Alonzo; her sisters, Sulema (Juan Rojas) Alonzo, Leticia (Antonio Lopez) Alonzo, Sandra (Mario Espinoza) Alonzo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Maria Isabel Alonzo is scheduled for Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
