Maria Barrera Munoz

Elsa- Maria Ester Barrera, 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 14, 1937 to Mr. Procoro Barrera and Mrs. Lucia Munoz Barrera in Mexico.

Mrs. Barrera is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Agustin Barrera Munoz, Ventura Barrera Munoz, Jose Barrera Munoz; her sisters: Sara Barrera Munoz, Dolores Barrera Munoz.

Left to cherish her memories is her Loving Husband: Jose Colin Barrera; her sons: Jose Antonio Colin Barrera, Jesus Colin Barrera, Jose C. Colin Barrera, Rogelio Colin Barrera, Dario Colin Barrera; her daughters: Angeles Huerta, Maria Almazan; her brother: Adolfo Barrera Munoz; her sister: Angelina Barrera Munoz; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Ester Barrera is scheduled for Friday, February 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heaven in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at 11:00 at Santa Fe Celestial Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
