La Feria- Maria del Carmen Alonzo, 96, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25,2025 peacefully at her residence.
Ms. Alonzo was born on July 16, 1928 in Villa de Zaragoza San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Mr. Refugio Cortez and Mrs. Maria Santana.
Ms. Alonzo is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Refugio Cortez and Mrs. Maria Santana; her husband, Juan Alonzo; her sons, Felipe (Rosa) Alonzo; her son-in-laws, Mario Duran, Fidel Alonzo.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Enrique Alonzo, Francisco (Maria) Alonzo, Marcelo (Lourdes) Alonzo, Juan (Elizabeth) Alonzo, Luis (Krista) Alonzo; her daughters, Maria de Lourdes Alonzo, Maria Antonia Alonzo, Maria del Socorro (Alonzo) Alonzo, Maria Guadalupe Alonzo, Martha (Jorge) Alonzo; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Maria C. Alonzo is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos, Texas. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
