Maria N Cantu

Edcouch - Maria N. Cantu, 87, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center.

Mrs. Cantu was born March 4, 1933 in Falfurrias, Texas, daughter of Ventura Navarro and Luz Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Baldemar Cantu Sr.; son, Oscar Cantu; brothers, Juan Navarro, Jose Navarro, Jesus Navarro; sister, Simona Garza.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Baldemar Cantu Jr.( Gloria), Mireya Sanchez (Florencio), Hilda Flores (Daniel). Also surviving her are 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Funeral chapel service will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10 am. with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Funeral serices have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
