Maria E. Carranza

Elsa - Maria E. Carranza, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Carranza was born March 18, 1935 in Tampico, Mexico, daughter of Regino Briales and Macedonia Flores. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Carranza; her parents; brothers,Paulino Briales, Luis Briales; sisters, Eutiquia Herrera and Gabina Correa.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Maria Mendoza, Santa Chavarria, Jose Carranza, Carmen C. Medeles; brother, David Briales. Also surviving her are 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
