Maria Guadalupe Castillo

Elsa- Maria Guadalupe Castillo, 70, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, Texas.

She was born on September 10, 1950, to Mr. Antonio Mendoza and Mrs. Ramona Lopez Portillo in Mexico.

Mrs. Castillo is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Antonio Mendoza.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband: Juan Castillo; her sons: Juan A. (Lori) Castillo and Jesse (Cristina) Castillo; her daughters: Marisela (Ricardo) Estimbo, Monica Castillo, Patricia (Fidel Galvan) Castillo; her brother: Emilio Mendoza; her sisters: Rosa M. Mendoza, Evangelina Lopez, Martha Mendoza, Virginia Lopez; 8 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Castillo is scheduled for Friday, November 27, 2020, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Ricardo Estimbo Sr., Ricardo Estimbo Jr., Joseph T. Estimbo, Juan A. Castillo Jr., Fidel Galvan and Jesse Saenz. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Jayden J. Castillo.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
