Maria D. "Chenda" Reyna

Monte Alto- Maria D. Reyna, 91, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg, Texas.

Mrs. Reyna was born on July 9, 1933 to Mr. Rosendo Trevino and Mrs. Beatriz Belia Garcia in Mexico.

Mrs. Reyna is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Rosendo Trevino and Mrs. Beatriz Garcia; her husband, Robert G. Reyna; her sister, Amelia Villarreal Cantu and her great-grandson, Manolo Reyna.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Milton (Janie) Reyna, Mario A. (Elvira) Reyna; her daughter, Estela (Hector) Rodriguez; her sisters, Lilia Trevino Martinez, Lucia Villarreal Pena, Irene Villarreal Vela; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria D. Reyna is scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
