Maria de Jesus Mendoza

Donna- Maria de Jesus Mendoza, 75, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at her residence in Donna.

Mrs. Mendoza was born on September 14, 1948 to Mr. Jesus Rada and Mrs. Leonor S. Rada in Donna, Texas.

Mrs. Mendoza is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Jesus Rada and Mrs. Leonor S. Rada; her son-in-law, Jose Pedraza; her brother, Sabino Rada; her sisters, Rosalinda Huerta, Esperanza Rada.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Juan Mendoza Jr., whom she called "Jinks"; her sons, Jessie (Veronica) Mendoza, James Mendoza, Juan Mendoza III; her daughters, Connie (Aurelio) M. Valdez, Noelia (Reynaldo III) M. Gonzalez, Michelle (David) M. Kanski, Erica (Jose Manuel) M. Bravo, Jamie Pedraza; her brothers, Enrique Rada; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Our momma had the biggest heart inspiring many. Her strong faith in God allowed her to spread happiness and kindness, wherever she went. She always saw the good in everyone. Momma will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria de Jesus Mendoza is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am at New Life Temple Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
