Brownsville Maria Candelaria de la Cruz, 47, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center.

 Mrs. de la Cruz was born March 19, 1977, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of Jose Felix Guerrero and Maria Acosta Guerrero. She is preceded in death by her parents.

 Left to cherish her memories are her husband Jose Ernesto de la Cruz; her daughter, Natally de la Cruz (Eduardo Valdez), Nadia de la Cruz, Nancy de la Cruz; her brother, Jose Maria Guerrero and her sister, Bertha Guerrero. Also surviving her are 2 grandchildren Dylan de la Cruz and Damon Valdez.

 Visitation will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A funeral chapel service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

 Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
