Maria Elba Montelongo

Edcouch - Maria Elba Montelongo, 72, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center.

Miss Montelongo was born April 3, 1952 in Edcouch, Texas, daughter of Guadalupe Montelongo Sr. and Rosalia Flores Montelongo. she is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Erasmo Montelongo, Antonio Montelongo, Guadalupe Montelongo and a sister Enedina Cantu.

Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Julio Montelongo, Humberto Montelongo and her sisters Maria Luisa Gomez and Maria Fidelfa Garcia. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
