Maria Guadalupe Gomez

Brownsville - Maria Guadalupe Gomez, 71, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mrs. Gomez was born March 11, 1950 in Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Jorge Zuniga Valadez and Marcelina Chairez. She is preceded in death by her husband Agustin Gomez Lopez' sisters, Gabina Zuniga and Lydia Esparza.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Flor Camacho, Jorge Alfonso Gomez, Angelica Y. Gomez; brother, Angel Zuniga; sisters, Francisca Zuniga, Hilda Zuniga and Rosa Zuniga. Also surviving her 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm with a 6 pm rosary at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
