Maria Luna

Donna, Texas - Maria Guadalupe Luna, 88, passed away to be with the Lord on March 8, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Luna was born on December 12, 1936 in Ocampo Guanajuato Mexico to Mr. Hilario Ramirez & Catalina Mendoza.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesus Luna; one daughter, Consuelo Melgoza; four brothers, Valente Ramirez, Jacinto Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Juan Ramirez & one grandson, Daniel Garza.

Maria Guadalupe Luna is survived by one son, Jesus Luna, Jr. (Maria Alicia); two daughters, Martina Garza (Martin), Leticia Melgoza (Jesus); three sisters, Genoveva Lopez, Maria Perez & Consuelo Davis. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Maria Guadalupe Luna is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Holy Rosary. A 1:00 PM Funeral Mass is scheduled at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, TX.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
