Weslaco, Texas - Maria Del Carmen Lara, 65, passed away to be with the Lord on March 30, 2024 at University Hospital in San Antonio.
Mrs. Lara was born on November 18, 1958 in Rio Bravo Tamualipas Mexico to Brigido & Amelia Piedra.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jose Alberto Lara & one sister, Rosa Maria Coronado.
Maria Del Carmen Lara is survived by two sons, Jose Alberto Lara, Jr., Fernando Josue Martinez Martinez; two daughters, Aime Lara, Amelia Lara; two brothers, Benjamin Piedra, Brijido Piedra; four sisters, Maria Castillo, Martha Treviño, Maria Del Jesus Piedra, & Guadalupe Maldonado.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A 2:00 p.m. graveside service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
