Maria De Los Angeles Mendez

Brownsville — Maria De Los Angeles Mendez, 62, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mrs. Mendez was born August 14, 1958, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Julian Mendez and Albesia Trevino. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Antonio Quiroz; children, Sara Nelly Quiroz, Magda Karina Quiroz, Antonio Quiroz Jr., Lino Quiroz; brothers, Julian Mendez, Ramon Mendez, Arturo Mendez, Jose Luis Mendez; sisters, Petra Mendez, Ofelia Mendez, Celia Mendez and Evelia Mendez. Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home — Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Park.
