Elsa- Maria R. Solis, 75, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg.

She was born on December 9, 1946 to Mr. Valerio Ramos and Mrs. Pomposa Leal in Mexico.

Mrs. Solis is preceded in death by her parents; her Loving Husband: Roberto Solis Salinas and her sister: Bertha Garza.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: Roberto Jaime (Regina) Solis and Juan Francisco (Ana Chapa) Solis; her daughters: Maria Angelica (Rogelio) Solis, Bertha (Tomas) Hernandez and Raquel (Juan Garza) Solis; her brother: Valerio Ramos; her sisters: Gregoria Leal, Virginia Salinas, Enriqueta Garza; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria R. Solis is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
