Maria Rivera Valdez

Elsa - Maria Rivera Valdez, 85, passed away to be with the Lord on January 5, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center.

Ms. Rivera Valdez was born on July 23, 1937 in Elsa, TX. to Mr. Cleofas Rivera & Mrs. Cayetana Rivera.

She is preceded in death by her sisters; Hortencia "Lencha" Sonen, Vicky Cantu, Dora Villarreal and Maggie Gonzalez.

Maria Rivera Valdez is survived by her sons; Steve Valdez (Pamela), and Adam Valdez, her daughters; Eva Valdez Ledesma (Joe) and Ofelia Valdez, her brother Luis Rivera and grandchildren Jr., Tony, Denise, Brenda, Celina and Wade, her great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Melanie, Thomas, Sophia, Ruben, Eleazar, Moses, Jorgie, Lani and Zenayda.

Visitation for Maria Rivera Valdez is scheduled for Saturday, January 07, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. As per her wishes, Ms. Valdez will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
