Elsa- Maria Elva Salas, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg, Texas.

She was born on March 2, 1950 to Gregorio Cipriano and Juana Barrera Cipriano in Weslaco, Texas.

Mrs. Salas is preceded in death by her parents; her son: Eugene Salas; her brothers: Juan Cipriano, Gregorio Cipriano, Jesus Cipriano, Ramon Cipriano, Reynaldo Cipriano; her sisters: Narcedelia Cipriano, Odilia Cipriano, Guadalupe Cipriano.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband: Jose Luis Salas; her daughter: Genyva (Daniel) Salas Monjaras; her brother: Oscar Cipriano; her sisters: Hilda Webber, Sylvia Avila, Blanca Salinas, Antonia Del Barrio; her grandchildren: Eugene Salas Jr., Nicole Danyelle Monjaras, Natalie Deanne Monjaras, Kassandra Hernandez, Marco Martinez, Renee S. Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Jonathan  Rodriguez, Abramn Rodriguez; her great-grandchildren: Kamila Salas, Kitana Salas & Ivory Reign Goodlett.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Elva Salas is scheduled for Friday, March 5, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
